Plumbing and HVAC Technology

Technology has become an integral part of all of our lives, and will continue to shape our future. The Plumbing and HVAC trades have seen many changes in technology in just the last 5 years. Many of the changes have been directed toward homeowner convenience, comfort, and energy savings. Programmable thermostats have been available for some time now, and are huge savings providers. Programmable thermostat technology has evolved to include mobile access. Now you can check the temperature at the home or office, adjust it from wherever you are, and many more features and functions can be available at your fingertips depending on the sophistication of your hardware. Programmable technology is available for your water heater too; start saving immediately by not using the energy to heat the water while no one is home. The technology installed in equipment has improved drastically in the last 5 years too. Furnaces and A/C units are increasingly more efficient, with new units operating at 97% efficiency. Installing newer more efficient units will result in utility savings, and many utility providers are issuing rebates to homeowners for switching to these efficient units. These rebates help to decrease the financial impact of the upfront cost. Robert Bair technicians are always educated on the latest technologies. We can help you decide which changes will make the biggest impact in your home. Call us with your concerns and we will send a knowledgeable Technician to your home to help.
